1) Write a love letter

Writing a special note for your fiancé to read on the day of the wedding is a thoughtful way to remind them how much you love them - even before the ceremony. It's a totally private opportunity to say how excited you are to spend the rest of your life with them.

2) Gifts throughout the day

The wedding day is stressful, so consider sending little love gifts to your bride or groom throughout the day. Such gifts could include a bottle of champagne in the morning, or a bouquet of flowers. Perhaps some of your spouse's favorite food in the afternoon. Think of things that could be enjoyed while your bride or groom is getting ready - the gesture will surely be appreciated!

3) Make a mix CD

This is a sweet, old-school way to make your loved one smile on your wedding day. While I'm more the dramatic type and would likely stage a "Say Anything" moment with a mixtape for my hubby-to-be, the gesture is more of a really simple, thoughtful way to show your fiancé you're thinking of him/her. Pick songs that have powerful lyrics that describe your love, or songs that mean something to you both.

4) Breakfast in Bed

Everyone loves breakfast in bed - so treat your fiancé by arranging to have breakfast delivered to them the moment they wake up. Starting out the morning right will keep their spirits and energy levels high as they start to tackle all the last minute wedding arrangements.

5) Engrave the rings

Having the rings engaged with a personal sentiment is a sweet surprise to reveal during the ceremony. Not only is it private between you and your spouse, but It's a nice way to make the most out of your new bling and it will last forever.
